In modern society, it is challenging for individuals with open hearts and minds. Every day, we face those who attempt to influence, devalue, and undermine our righteous efforts. They seek to clip the wings of the sincere, friendly, just, and selfless among us.
These skeptics either do not believe in us or view our lives through the narrow lens of their own experiences, insisting that their familiar patterns should apply to our lives as well.
We hear, see, feel, endure, and overcome these obstacles. And we triumph. Time and again, we rise anew with fresh strength, shaking off the ashes and spreading our wings. To soar once more. To help and give hope. To ourselves and to those who also need it.
This struggle and subsequent rebirth are depicted in the plot. The hourglass symbol is deliberate, as this journey takes time in every sense. The charred black feathers in the background signify that these trials are not without losses.
